TERMS OF WARRANTY
Granite Brothers guarantees countertops against improper fabrication and installation. We will repair or replace without charge the countertop should a manufacturing defect occur within one year from installation.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by chemicals, abuse, natural stone characteristics, act of nature or relocation of countertop.
Natural stones’ geological features are part of the stone’s beauty. Granite can have natural pitting, fissures or dull spots. Lighting conditions where the countertop is installed can make these features either diminish or be enhanced. These natural stone characteristics are considered part of the beauty of the stone. Pitting is part of the crystalline structure where small spaces appear between mineral crystals. When the stone is polished ting crystals losses and cause pits. These areas do not worsen with use or over time. Fissures are hairline cracks on the surface caused by temperature changes during the stones formation. They do not permeate the slab and will not expand or grow over the life of the countertop. Granite is composed of a mix of quartz, feldspars and other minerals. When components in the granite do not accept the same polish in a same manner as the rest of the stone, dull spots result. Stone products such as marble, slate, granite, and travertine are each unique, inherently subject to variation in shading and coloration. The natural features and reactions of the stone are not covered under warranty.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
An initial payment of 80%, with the remainder paid upon installation completion of each service is constituent of this service. The customer is responsible for any and all ancillary items including carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work. Be advised, Granite Brothers will put a standard quarter inch overhang on all under mount sinks unless instructed otherwise by the customer ahead of time.
All sales are final, and customer signature constitutes acceptance of these terms. Cancellation prior to product fabrication may result in a Page 6 of 6 restocking fee (30% of contract total). If customer is dissatisfied with the services provided, customer must notify Granite Brothers within 7 days of job completion by USPS certified mail. Failure to notify Granite Brothers vis USPS certified mail within 7 days of job completion constitutes customer’s waiver of all claims whatsoever against Granite Brothers. Customer’s signature on contract constitutes customer’s acceptance of additional terms on attached pages. When a remnant piece is chosen, all customers must come in and visually see and sign off on material. All remnant pieces are AS IS with no warranty.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Granite Brothers may amend this Warranty / Refund Policy from time to time. The signed contract is the final policy by client and will be honored to what agreement has been signed.
