La Vernia Stone Countertops

When choosing La Vernia stone countertops, it’s only natural that you’re going to have a lot of questions. It’s a really big decision, of course, because new countertops can transform your kitchen in ways you might not even realize. Granite Brothers can install your stone countertops in La Vernia TX in an efficient, cost-effective manner. But more than that, we’ll work closely with you to make sure you’re completely confident in your final decision. These are just a few of some of the more common questions we receive regarding new countertops.

Are Quartz Countertops Natural or Man-Made?

This is actually a very good question involving La Vernia stone countertops. In geologic terms, quartz is a mineral. When it comes to stone countertops in La Vernia TX, quartz is actually man-made. Quartz countertops are made of crushed quartz that is combined with resins and pigments. Quartz countertops aren’t actually pure stone, but 90 percent of their materials are natural.

Is Natural or Engineered Stone Better?

It wasn’t that long ago that the majority of homeowners would opt for natural stone, such as granite. But quartz stone countertops in La Vernia TX have increased in popularity in recent years. You can’t really go wrong either way. Both natural stone and quartz are beautiful. Natural stone is less expensive, while quartz doesn’t require as much maintenance. Both are durable enough to last for decades. Basically, your decision will come down to your personal preference.

Does Natural Stone Require a Lot of Maintenance?

The main difference between granite and quartz, from a maintenance perspective at least, is that granite will typically need to be re-sealed at least once a year – preferably by a professional. You might need to do this more often, depending on how much you use them. Quartz, on the other hand, doesn’t need sealing. Bother materials should be cleaned regularly.

Granite Brothers for the win! I needed a small vanity top cut for a custom vanity I built and they came through big time. Max worked with me to find the perfect piece to match my new tile. It’s exactly what I wanted! Will definitely use them again for future projects!

We first went to some big box stores that were outrageous with pricing and installation. We then went to Granite Brothers just looking for a bathroom countertop and was shown some remnants and found just what we were looking for. From pricing to install the experience was great and we will be using them when we update kitchen.

I had a great experience with Granite Brothers! Their pricing was very reasonable, one of the lower bids I got. They were quick, and were even willing to install over multiple days to accommodate my plumbing delays. The seams are virtually invisible and the counters beautiful! I highly recommend working with these folks!

Donny, Ty and his team did an amazing job with remodeling my countertops. They kept to their timeline and were upfront with communicating where they were in the process. Everyone we interacted with was professional and they did their best to clean up after their job. Thank you for your hard work and making my vision become a reality.

I recently had granite brothers install the counters for a small kitchenette in apartment above our garage. They did a great job. This is the third time I’ve used them. The previous time was to replace the kitchen counters and our bathroom counters in our current house and the first time was in our previous house to update it. What I like about them is that they’re easy to do business with. You tell them what you want they give you a really great price and then they deliver it. I have used others in the past and granite brothers is far superior

I had a great experience with Granite Brothers updating our bath and kitchen counters and sinks! We scheduled a free estimate/measurement then stopped by their show room and they talked us through price points and let us take our time deciding what we wanted. Since we picked a quartz that is purchased by the foot they even included a small waterfall we wanted no charge because it was a small piece it is usually hard to use. TJ was our rep and he was very responsive the whole time with any questions I had and gave suggestions on where to get hardware (they don’t do plumbing, but have a recommendation if you want it). They were super flexible with scheduling because we needed to wait for install until our foundation was repaired/settled. They even came out and did a second measure just to be sure everything was right. Once scheduled the guys arrived as expected and installed it and cleaned up very well after themselves. And I love the end result (see pics)! I noticed later they made the ledge next to my fridge longer than previous so we can’t fully open the door, but a quick easy phone call and that is scheduled to be fixed no issues. If I had more counters I would hire them again! Thanks Granite Brothers!
