Bulverde Bathroom Countertops

Getting new Bulverde bathroom countertops, requires a great deal of preparation. One of the most important is to make sure accurate measurements are taken. Granite Brothers has a great deal of experience in this area, and we can make sure the measurements for your new bathroom countertops in Bulverde TX are exactly right. But if you want to take your own measurements so you can get a good idea of how much your countertops will cost, here are some tips to help you do just that.

What You’ll Need

When measuring for new Bulverde bathroom countertops, you’ll need a level, a ruler and some measuring tape, as well as a pen and paper. Before you do anything, though, you’ll need to determine whether or not the new bathroom countertops in Bulverde TX will be the same size as the old ones. If you’ll be extending them, then don’t forget to figure that into the measurements you take.

Taking the Measurements

Here’s a brief look at how to measure for new bathroom countertops in Bulverde TX. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the experts with Granite Brothers.

  • First, you’ll need to find the centerline where the sink sits. Whether you’re planning to keep the old one or get a new one, remember that a sink will typically need 10 inches of space on each side.
  • Next, measure the back of the countertop, starting from the left edge and moving to the right. Write down the measurement. If your new bathroom countertops in Bulverde TX will be larger, determine exactly where you’ll want the edge to stop. Then simply add that distance to the measurement you’ve already taken.
  • The next step will be to measure the width. Start at the back of the wall and go to the front edge – or where you’ll want the new front edge to be located. Multiply that figure by the first measurement and then divide by 12. That will be your square footage – the number you’ll use when getting your estimate.

We first went to some big box stores that were outrageous with pricing and installation. We then went to Granite Brothers just looking for a bathroom countertop and was shown some remnants and found just what we were looking for. From pricing to install the experience was great and we will be using them when we update kitchen.

I had a great experience with Granite Brothers! Their pricing was very reasonable, one of the lower bids I got. They were quick, and were even willing to install over multiple days to accommodate my plumbing delays. The seams are virtually invisible and the counters beautiful! I highly recommend working with these folks!

Donny, Ty and his team did an amazing job with remodeling my countertops. They kept to their timeline and were upfront with communicating where they were in the process. Everyone we interacted with was professional and they did their best to clean up after their job. Thank you for your hard work and making my vision become a reality.

I recently had granite brothers install the counters for a small kitchenette in apartment above our garage. They did a great job. This is the third time I’ve used them. The previous time was to replace the kitchen counters and our bathroom counters in our current house and the first time was in our previous house to update it. What I like about them is that they’re easy to do business with. You tell them what you want they give you a really great price and then they deliver it. I have used others in the past and granite brothers is far superior

I had a great experience with Granite Brothers updating our bath and kitchen counters and sinks! We scheduled a free estimate/measurement then stopped by their show room and they talked us through price points and let us take our time deciding what we wanted. Since we picked a quartz that is purchased by the foot they even included a small waterfall we wanted no charge because it was a small piece it is usually hard to use. TJ was our rep and he was very responsive the whole time with any questions I had and gave suggestions on where to get hardware (they don’t do plumbing, but have a recommendation if you want it). They were super flexible with scheduling because we needed to wait for install until our foundation was repaired/settled. They even came out and did a second measure just to be sure everything was right. Once scheduled the guys arrived as expected and installed it and cleaned up very well after themselves. And I love the end result (see pics)! I noticed later they made the ledge next to my fridge longer than previous so we can’t fully open the door, but a quick easy phone call and that is scheduled to be fixed no issues. If I had more counters I would hire them again! Thanks Granite Brothers!
